Vientiane
Vientiane is the city of sandalwood
and a true oriental city with all its charm at heart.

Luang Prabang is the former royal
and religious capital of Laos and located at the junction
of Nam Khan and Mekong Rivers. The city name has its
origin in Pra Bang or Golden Buddha, which was brought
to Fa Ngum, the first Lao king, by a priest from Angkor
in Indonesia. Main attractions in the city are Phousi
hill, That Chomsi, Royal Palace, Wat May Souvanna Phoumakam,
Wat Xieng Thong, Wat Pake, Wat Pa Ke, and others
