Bonn
Bonn is a 2000-year-old city that
has a wealth
of sites to offer tourists. The Town Hall or the Baroque
Alte Rathaus, the Kreuzberg Chapel, two-storied Schwarzrheindorf
Church and a large number of other churches are worth
a visit. The late 19th-century streets of the old "Südstadt"
with their
splendid facades, the Alte Friedhof, and
the Rheinaue Recreational Park are the other main tourist
attractions.
Berlin
Berlin is the capital city and heart
of Germany with its grand public buildings, museums
and theatres, restaurants, pubs and enthusuastic nightclubs.

Munich
The cosmopolitan city of Munich
has the largest number of theatres in Germany, thousands

a number of museums and beautiful gardens.
Marienplatz is the lively centre of Munich with cafes
lining the streets and St. Peter Church whose 300-foot
tower gives excellent views of the city. The Residenz
Palace, Alte Pinakothek/Neue Pinakothek (Old & New Art
Museums) and Schloss Nymphenburg (the countryside palace
of Wittelsbachs that is named after the nymphs frescoed
on its main entrance hall) are the pother places of
interest here.
Frankfurt
Frankfurt is the financial and geographical
centre of western Germany. The Städel Museum is one
of the very best in the world with an enviable collection
of works by artists from the Renaissance to the 20th
century. The Museum of Modern Art also houses a magnificent
collection. Frankfurt's music scene is lively and the
jazz is of especially high quality.
Rhine Valley
The Rhine Valley is blessed woith
an array of splendid vistas of fertile vineyards clinging
to steep hills, numerous imposing castles and dreamy
wine villages. The Rhine in Flames is a series of festivals
when fireworks and lights light up the sky. A boat ride
is the best way to get a close look at the beauty of
the city. Cologne, and Heidelberg with its superb castle
lie near by.
Lübeck
Lübeck is medieval town that is
on UNESCO's World Heritage list. The Marionettentheater
(Puppet Theatre) is located here and should not be missed.
