Ibn Battuta Mall is the largest themed mall in the Middle
East. It houses 6 malls with 6 different themes namely
China, India, Persia, Egypt, Tunisia and Andalusia.
China Court, constructed in the style of 14th century
China, houses a 21-screen Grand Megaplex, including
the UAE's first IMAX theatre, the most exciting cinematic
experience on earth.
India Court reflects the architectural style of 14th
century India and has been constructed to be just as
wonderful as the international designer fashions and
accessories it houses.
It flaunts names like Fitz &
Simons, to Combipel, Top Shop and River Island, you
can find all your favorite designer labels here under
one roof.
Persian store also reflects 14th century Persian architecture
and is a home for many departmental stores.
Egypt Court is home to family fashion. You can shop
for sporting apparel here, with stores offering the
best in athletic clothing, shoes and equipment.
Tunisia court also offers great collection for the
entire family and some fresh foods.
The mall is really beautiful and divided into countries which were explored by the famous arab explorer.
You can learn all about his explorations in the mall which gives you an exhibition of the places. Each area/country is decorated like that country. Some of the decorations are beyond words.
We like this mall better because it's not as crowded as the Mall of the Emirates.
The restaurants are usually full and we end up grabbing a sandwich at Gloria Jeans by Egypt, our favorite place to park due to Magrudy's book store and the Toy Store right there.
Make sure you have your walking shoes on, because this is a big mall.
Andalusia Court houses a banking centre, a flower shop,
DVD and video rentals, key cutting and shoe mending,
and dry cleaning facilities.
Beside all these you can find theater halls, movie
halls and great restaurants. Ibn Battuta Mall is a must
visit place in Dubai.
