del Mar 'the Garden City' is one of Chile's most stylish

Estero and Acapulco beaches.
Derby Day is a thrilling place where you can view some
exciting horse races. Vina del Mar's Casino is the most
active casino commanding a great view of the landscaped
gardens and the enormous Pacific Ocean. Fonck Museum
of Archeology is a cultural place and museum where garments
and other remains are displayed which dates back to
Chile's pre historic times. It also houses Araucanian
silverware, pre-Columbian pottery, samples of fossils,
minerals, preserved insects and stuffed animals.
Vina's international song festival is a yearly attraction.
It's generally held during the third week of February
and lasts five evenings. It is marked by Latin American
and European performances.
