Queensland is the second largest and third most populous
state of Australia. It occupies the north-east corner
of the mainland continent. The state is neighbored by
the Northern Territory to the west, South Australia
to the south west and New South Wales in the south.
To the east Queensland is bordered by the Coral Sea
and the Pacific Ocean.
There are a large number of Attractions located in
various regions, towns and cities within Queensland.
Brisbane is Australia's largest city in the sub-tropics,
enjoying a fortunate climate of hot, brilliant summers
and clear, mild winters that makes it the ideal destination
for visitors all year round. While Brisbane has all
the facilities of a modern city it retains a friendly,
easier pace of life, surrounded by parks, gardens and
beaches. Cairns is the heart of the Tropical North,
and as such provides an ideal base for exploring and
enjoying the rich, varied pleasures of this region.
The Cairns International Airport, a short ride from
the city centre, acts as a gateway to the city and a
primary access point to the Great Barrier Reef. Daintree
Village is a lush village with a population of some
100 people. It is surrounded by tropical habitats that
can be reached by river boats. The cruises vary considerably
to cater for our visitors. During the winter months
hundreds of daily visitors arrive to see crocodiles
sunning themselves on the river banks and the rich and
varied plant life in the rainforest and mangrove forests.
