Best time to visit Kakadu is June to September months. It is bit difficult to visit this area in wet season spanning from December to March as tracks catches water and become inaccessible.

There are two ways to reach Kakadu. You can reach its northern entry point through Arnhem Highway. It is around 150 km south-east of Darwin.

However, you can also reach Kakadu from the south on the Stuart Highway. To reach the southern entrance you need to turn right in Pine Creek.
